It's the stage of life I'm in.
It's a good stage!
I love watching babies grow.
Even the smallest milestones make my heart happy.
I haven't done an update on my kids for awhile, so I thought I would talk about them for a minute.
Starting with Hunter, cause he's driving me NUTS.....
Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Hunter Boy.
Oh Hunter Boy.
He's the sweetest punk there ever was. He can go from being SO mischievous and naughty to making me a puddle of mommy "aww"s in less than two seconds.
He loves doing everything he is NOT supposed to do.
Some of those things include:
-Finding sticks (usually in the form of a broom) and whacking everything possible to see what makes the biggest sound
-Playing my harp
-Pulling mine and Grace's hair
-Pushing a chair over to the counter in the kitchen and getting in to whatever is supposed to be too high for him to reach
-Opening and closing the disk holder on the Xbox
-Rubbing every kind of food in his hair
-Clawing at our faces, ha ha ha.
And last, but not least....
-Leaving the table and threatening to touch my beautiful chair in our living room. He always waits till his hands are covered in sauce and then leaves the table to strike. He knows I HATE it. He runs away giggling so loud.
The thing with this whole list is............
He KNOWS he's NOT supposed to do any of these things. There is full cognition there. He completely understands that these are all on the no list.
But he's just at that age where he thinks it's hilarious to be naughty.
Some ACTUAL hilarious things that he does:
-Picks up any remote, puts it to his mouth and says "Netflix". It doesn't actually sound like Netflix, it sounds more like "nesuea", but that's what he's meaning. We have voice command on our remote, so we can click on a button and say what show we want. I am always saying "Netflix" into it, cause that's always what the kids want.
-Uses any electronic device as a phone to talk to who knows who.
-Gives us all of his stuffed animals and blanket one by one when we come get him from nap or in the morning. After we pick him up he'll point at his crib for us to put all of his things back in the bed. Ha ha.
-Roars like a dinosaur ALL day. He is constantly running away from us while roaring.
-Waves at every single person both for saying hi and bye. SOOO sweet.
He's a good boy. He really is. All of the silly little things that he does are part of learning and growing.
The funny thing about the naughty things that he does.... is he only does it around or with people he's comfortable with.
So that really is just at home and maybe with grandparents.
I get comments almost every time we go anywhere that he is such a calm kid. I always have people saying: "He seems so mellow."
And he is.....in public.
At home the dinosaur is unleashed and he runs like a maniac. Ha ha ha ha ha.
Some things Hunter loves:
-His dad
-DINOSAURS
-Planes ("Duh-dee!" Dusty)
-Grandmas
-Going on adventures. He is always first to get his shoes when we are going somewhere.
-Nursery
-Trains
-Watching Grace do anything
-Getting chased by Grace
-Sitting with dad
-Soccer!
Some words he has started saying (pretty much none of these sound like the actual word. They are very much only understood by me, Jeff, and sometimes Grace):
-Thank you
-Stuck
-Cheese
-Ready set go!
-1, 2, 3!
-All done
-Blue (his one and only color! Ha ha)
-Baby
-Kitty
-Choo choo
-Go go Jazz!
-Shoes
-Socks
-Temple
-So many names of relatives including grandma, grandpa, cousins names etc.
He thought he was bugging Grace, which makes him laugh super hard! Such a typical little brother. :)
Grace took this picture of him when they were playing in her room.
Cute boy!
They love each other!
Best little friends. I adore this picture.
Out for lunch with mom and Sis.
Mother's Day
Messy kid! He is hilarious and sweet. Love him.
